A stray cat is so excited to get help for its kittens and never has to wander the streets again.
Last week, Kayla, a volunteer caregiver for Salem Friends of Felines, was contacted about a stray cat that had recently given birth to a child. The beautiful mother has four surviving kittens to whom she is fully dedicated.
They named their Priscilla (after Elvis’ wife) after the lovable Elvis lip curl that she proudly wears wherever she goes. She often sticks out her tongue to add character to her face. The cute cat is very happy about a quiet, comfortable room in which she can nestle with her demanding babies.
Shortly after getting out of her porter, she lay on her side and immediately fed the hungry little mouths.
“She’s such a good mom that she doesn’t want to abandon her babies,” shared Kayla Love Meow. “She was found a stray. I’m not sure if her babies were born outside or not, but I know this is not her first litter.”
The kittens were about three days old when they arrived at their nursing home.
The mother cat came with some stomach problems and received much-needed medical attention to help her heal. She began to trust and even stretched out her paws to show affection.
You don’t know how long she was on the street before finding her way to the rescue, but the cute mother cat is content and fills her room with purrs as she wags her paws in the air.
It wasn’t long before Priscilla realized Kayla was there to help. She began to entrust her with her kittens, taking breaks to refill and stretch from time to time.
Knowing that her babies were in good hands, she even ventured out a little to check out her room and inspect whatever she could find.
For the first time in a while, the ex-stray can relax and enjoy having a roof over her head and having attention and pets on request. She discovered her own reflection and even tried to wave to him.
She starts thinking about the idea of playing with toys but is still not sure how to properly maneuver.
Her age is uncertain, although they believe she could be on the older side.

After wandering the streets for so long, Priscilla feels very comfortable with the inner workings and all the indulgences of a loving family.
When Kayla comes into the room, she is immediately greeted by the friendly mom. “She will leave her babies for a while to be brushed and petted,” Kayla told Love Meow.
She has many expressions and keeps making people smile.
The kittens still have a lot to do, but when they’re big enough to be adopted, Mama Priscilla will retire from motherhood once and for all.
She will never have to roam the streets again for shelter and food or for another pregnancy.
Priscilla pushes every second out of her full maternity schedule to be pampered by her humans.
She is a keen cat mom to all of her babies and does a wonderful job of looking after them. The kittens are kept spotless, and their mother keeps a close eye on them to make sure they don’t migrate.
The cat with the perfect lip curl loves its VIP life. She rumbles happily along with her four little purr machines.
