We warmly welcome everyone to join the live chat. Our chat is managed by volunteer moderators who will help answer questions and keep the chat in a safe, welcoming and educational place to share information about birds in real time. We ask all moderators and participants to adhere to the following guidelines. Many Thanks!
How to log into the chat
You don’t have to log in to read the chat. In order to be able to post a comment in the chat, you need a user name and a password. If you’ve talked to us about Chatroll in the past, you can still use your old login and password. However, the first time you do it, you will need to create a username and password.
To create a login, first open the chat window by clicking the “Join Chat” button below the live stream. Click “Sign in with Chatroll” at the bottom of the chat window to be taken to a page where you can choose a username, password, email address and verify that you are human. After completing the form, return to the chat and enter your credentials at the bottom of the window. If there is a pop-up asking if you want to open a business account, ignore it and go back to the cam page and log in.
Note that the chat may be closed at certain times of the day and your comments will not appear until the chat is open. If you are having trouble logging in, please contact Chatroll using the online form. If you forget your password, you can use the Chatroll tool to retrieve it automatically.
