Big-eyed kitten but half the size clings to the family who saved his life and turned into a beautiful cat

A family gave a little kitten a chance to fight and turned her life around.

Beth, a volunteer caregiver for Kitty Kottage, has been notified of a 99-gram kitten in need of help. When she saw the little ball of fur, she was surprised how small it was.

Although the kitten was three weeks old, it was only the size of a newborn baby. He had been turned down by his mother for health reasons and was in dire need of bottle-feeding and someone to love.

“He’s been a fighter since surviving three weeks in the state he was in,” shared Beth Love Meow. His eyes were caked when they got him. “I didn’t know if he could see.”

The kitten they called Guinness had trouble feeding from a bottle or syringe and had to be fed drops for the first few days.

Beth and her family worked together to make sure he had food served every hour and cuddled a lot day and night. The little one found his favorite place for a nap in the crook of Beth’s neck.

With the greatest care, the kitten’s eyes cleared and his appetite increased. He began to eat in large quantities each time he was fed, and his liking for attention also grew.

“When it found out after a few days that it clicked into place, I knew we’d make it,” Beth told Love Meow.

Guinness had a tiny frame but a great pair of beautiful blues. He was an avid cuddler from the start and insisted on having a long cuddle session with his people after every meal.

“It was wrapped up like a little burrito. He stuck his head in and crawled out when he woke up,” said Beth. “It’s been so strong since the day I got it.”

The kitten continued to surprise its people with its strength and will to live.

At a month old he was still half his size as he should have been, but the little blue-eyed wonder ate to its heart’s content and tried to grow tall and strong.

Once he built some leg muscles, he didn’t hesitate to put all four of them to good use. Guinness quickly figured out how to play with toys and got more adventurous and playful every day.

But nothing made him happier than cuddling with his humans and making tiny cookies (kneading) on ‚Äč‚Äčtheir shoulders.

He played hard, but slept harder. After getting the zoomies and wrestling with anything he could put his paws on, he snuggled up against his people to recharge.

Guinness was the cutest little nap buddy and a tough purr machine.

It took a while for the kitten to finally get a growth spurt. He was still small, but what he lacked in size he certainly made up for in personality.

“If Guinness really likes what makes it purr, it doesn’t just purr, it squeaks,” wrote Beth.

Guinness is a little chatter and is not afraid to express its many opinions.

“He checked the view from my bedroom window and wasn’t pleased that a vehicle had the audacity to drive by! He quickly gave them some of his thoughts.”

Guinness is a folk cat and will follow its humans around the house. “He always sleeps on our bed. He went from sleeping between our heads to sleeping between one of our legs.”

The cute kitten greets his father at home with a bear hug and even offers to groom his hair like a cat.

When he became a teenage cat, his personality shone through.

Guinness constantly fills the house with endless entertainment and its adorable little quirks.

It’s been almost a year since Guinness crossed paths with its eternal family. He has grown into a beautiful kitten.

“He was only 99 grams at three weeks when I just got him. I never thought that he would be what he is,” said Beth.
